Wyatt
WYE-ut /ˈwaɪ.ət/
Meaning of Wyatt
Wyatt is the English form of the medieval Frankish/Norman name Wighard, later Wihard — from Old German wig ('war, battle') + hard ('strong, brave'). It came into English use as a surname (most famously Wyatt Earp, 1848–1929) before moving to first-name use in the 20th century. The Western-frontier association gives it a distinctly American flavour.
