You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use the Baby Name Finder generator or any of its category pages. We do not collect names, email addresses, postal addresses, dates of birth or any other identifying detail through the generator itself. Names you save to a shortlist are stored only in your own browser's localStorage; nothing about your shortlist is sent to us or to anyone else.

When you visit the site, certain technical information is collected automatically by us and our third-party partners:

8. Children's privacy

We do not store personal data on our own servers beyond standard server access logs, which are retained for up to 90 days for security and abuse-prevention purposes and then deleted or anonymised. Data collected by Google AdSense is governed by Google's own retention policies, linked above. Your saved shortlist exists only in your browser; clearing browser storage removes it.

10. International transfers

Our hosting and advertising partners (Cloudflare, Google) may process data in jurisdictions outside the UK and the EEA, including the United States. Where transfers occur, those providers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and/or adequacy decisions to ensure equivalent protection.
